As a multiple cat owner, I’ve been on the search for the best mess for years now. I had settled for Scoop Away, a premium cat litter that claims: maximum odor control, highest clumping strength, and also to be multiple cat devised. I was quite satisfied with it in most respects but one: it was too thick. I clean my litter boxes daily. I use extra large litter boxes because I have some extra big cats. I wanted another but I was too lazy to investigate any further. You may also interested in: Self Cleaning Litter Boxes
All that changed when I emailed a cat. While I waited for the birth of the kittens, I see that clumping cat litter dust could be harmful to the toddlers. That was motivation enough for me personally. I tried a few brands that did not clump but I had read excellent reviews about. I wasn’t fond of them, particularly the crystal kind.
World’s Best Cat Litter asserts to scoop the easiest. I believe this to be true. They also claim that it’s safe for people and pets since it is created from natural ingredients with no added silica or chemicals. What I also find quite significant is how this particular brand is 100% biodegradable therefore it doesn’t harm our environment. As an aside, it is likewise septic-tank secure and flushable. After using this type of litter for a couple of weeks, I discovered a few important things. First off, it is lighter than many clumping ones I have ever used. It is not as light as the crystals but it’s a lot lighter than clay clumping litters. Unfortunately, my primary issue with this type of litter was the odor. Although I bought the multiple cat family formulation, it became apparent the odor was building up. The corn becomes saturated and if you don’t eliminate and clean out the litter boxes in their entirety, your whole household will be permeated by a musty musty odor of corn blended with cat fesses and pee.
Since I pumped up, I am still utilizing World’s Best Cat Litter, but I am using it in combination with different baking soda based odor powders, and now we are all breathing a little better. That should not be the case though. When I was using Scoop Away, I rarely had an odor issue.
I’m going to continue using World’s Best Cat Litter for a few more weeks, while my kittens are still growing and developing their lungs, but I will return to Scoop Away whenever possible.
We all have our priorities. Think of yours, consider the pros and the cons I introduced you personally and choose for yourselves. I frankly wished World’s Best Cat Litter are the ONE for me, as it is so eco and cat friendly, although I draw the line on the odor issue.…
